National Heritage Week celebrates Ireland’s cultural, built and natural heritage. It brings together volunteers, community groups and heritage enthusiasts to share their experience, knowledge, culture and practices. There are lots of events happening throughout the county of Wicklow and quite close to us here at The Glenmalure Lodge. Maybe most notably Family friendly tours of the monastic site in Glendalough, basket making workshops, archaeological excavations at Glendalough as well as many heritage walking tours throughout the county.
